ScatterTones is a student-run, all-gender a cappella group at UCLA! Founded in 2002, the group performs regularly on campus as well as in the Greater Los Angeles Area. In addition, they have opened for Pentatonix in concert multiple times, sung in the White House, and have been featured on KTLA Channel 5 Morning news, National Public Radios program, "Says You," and as backup singers for Taylor Swift. Performing a variety of music from pop, jazz, R&B, and rock styles using the melodies and rhythms of their own voices and beatboxer, the ScatterTones have also competed multiple times in the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA), most recently winning 3rd Place in 2019, as well as in UCLA's prestigious talent competition Spring Sing and the Los Angeles A Cappella Festival Scholastic Competition. |
