Awechords is a co-ed, noncompetitive a cappella group that was founded in 2006 as a musical component in UCLAʼs annual Vietnamese Culture Night (VCN). We expanded into our own a cappella group in 2010, and sing a variety of arrangements in different music genres like pop, rock, and showtunes. Some of our past arrangements have been "When the Party's Over" by Billie Eilish and a "24K Magic/Finesse" mashup by Bruno Mars and Cardi B. Above all, Awechords likes to place an emphasis on community and bonding, consisting of people who connect with each other through music. We promise that our vibes do not disappoint, and we would love to have anyone who shares our same passion for music and friendship.
